Green Bean Diet Helped A Dog Beat Her Health Issues

Green Beans Help A Dog Beat Her Health Issues

Tonya Doherty is a dog mom who will forever be thankful for green beans. That is because when her beloved pup named Roxy suddenly fell ill back in 2018, this veggie became her pooch’s additional nurse.

It was April of 2018 when Roxy’s health started to decline. Slowly, Roxy lost her ability to walk, eat, and even drink on her own without any discernible cause. Eventually, the poor pup was diagnosed with brain and spine inflammation. However, the vets could not pinpoint the reason behind the disease.

Tonya could not give up on her dog, so she dedicated herself to the healing of her beloved pet. Among the first steps that Tonya took was changing Roxy’s diet. She reached out to top dog health professionals in the country, and many of them suggested adding green beans to Roxy’s diet.

According to Tonya, she took their advice, which Roxy loved. Tonya believes that the green beans helped in saving Roxy’s life. She said that her dog was always receptive to green beans even during the times when it was almost impossible for her to eat or drink.

Tonya explained that it was not like Roxy didn’t want to eat or drink. It was mainly because she couldn’t. In some months, Roxy could barely open her mouth. Tonya said that the green beans’ texture made it easier for Roxy to chew and swallow. Since then, Roxy has never looked back.

Now, Roxy’s health has significantly improved. She’s already able to walk and get around on her own. However, she’s still in the process of relearning how to run and go up and down the stairs. Of course, this was not only because of the green beans but also because of her mom’s dedication.

From the very beginning, Tonya was determined to help her dog walk one day. She didn’t know how, but Tonya knew in her heart that her pup would walk again. Tonya combined the green bean diet with frequent walking and swimming lessons. Gradually, Roxy regained her ability to walk.
