Family Travels 16 Hours And Saves Ignored Shelter Dog
Family Travels 16 Hours to Save an Ignored Shelter Dog

Meeting Joyce
Joyce was one of the dogs that the shelter hopes would find a family of her own.
She had been staying in the shelter for over two months already, and she had been consistently ignored. Joyce has seen some of her dog friends get chosen and leave the shelter for a better life. But each day, Joyce stays in her kennel, hoping that the family for her arrives soon.
That day is about to arrive
.
Front Street Animal Shelter's adoption drive was posted on social media and shared many times over. One family from British Columbia in Canada saw that particular post and decided to make the almost 900-mile drive to the shelter to save a dog's life.
Any dog at all.
They hadn't seen any of the dogs staying in the shelter, but they were determined to pick one and take it home with them.
It didn't take long for them to pick Joyce.
The family fell in love with the gentle and playful dog.
She is so happy to find a family that she could call her own finally. Her face was of pure joy as she rode their truck and left for home.
